Now that it has been officially announced that they are going to make a new moon movie i've made this page. i will update when more news comes along but this page will probably be very empty until filming begins.

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are returning as Edward and Bella
Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke will not be returning to direct New Moon. Catherine claims she wanted a little more time to work on New Moon and Summit wanted to release it as quickly as possible so she quit. The role has been taken over by Chris Weitz who will direct it.
Pre-Production begins in December 2008 and lasts for 12 weeks till March when New Moon will begin filming.
Taylor Lautner is DEFINITELY returning for new moon to portray Jacob black. and all i have to say is WOOHOO !!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion Taylor is perfect and i sooooo wanted him to get this part he deserves it.
Edi Gathegi has confirmed he is returning in new moon as Laurent. Although we all knew he would probably return nothing had been officially confirmed but it has now.
Vanessa Hudgens has NOT auditioned for the role of Leah. It has been announced after weeks of uncertainty that Vanessa Hudgens has not auditioned so everyone can breathe a deep sigh of relief.
New Moon and Eclipse may be being filmed back to back. This may not be true but some casting sites have been saying that New Moon and Eclipse will be being filmed back to back with New Moon being released in 2009, Eclipse being released in 2010 and Pre-Production on Breaking Dawn beginning in spring of 2010. Although this would explain the bumper pay packets the main cast are getting this has not been officially announced/confirmed by Summit so this should be treated as a rumour until it is confirmed.
It has been officially confirmed that Dakota Fanning is in talks with the movie's producers about being Jane in the movie. Although it hasn't been confirmed whether she's in the movie or not there should be a confirmation in the next week or so (Keep in mind that she hasn't been cast yet, but is definitely being considered.)
Despite rumours Madonna will not be in the new moon movie. It was said a few days ago that she was interested in it but is not gonna be in it. She may contribute to the movie soundtrack though.
Robert Pattinson will probably not be involved in this soundtrack. He sung on the twilight soundtrack but has had doubts about doing it. He has said about this one "I really didn’t want it to look like I was trying to cash in"
AnnaLynne McCord will sink her teeth into the role of Heidi. Gal pal to Emmett Cullen, aka Kellan Lutz, she says, “I’m so obsessed with vampires!” 90210 actor Brandon Michael Vayda will play Jared the werewolf.
Despite speculation that British actor Ben Barnes, last seen as Prince Caspian in the Narnia movies, would play Aro, the sinister leader of the vampire world, his L.A.-based agent, Nick Reed, sets the record straight: “Although Ben has enjoyed much of the speculation, we haven’t had any calls. There’s no truth to it.”
Solomon Trimble will not be returning as Sam in New Moon.
